An understanding of the customer codes of practice and quality standards will enable you to support the Technical Manager in customer audits; your approach is to foster an audit ready culture at all times. A background in food manufacturing will be important as well as an understanding of good technical standards. Heading up the QA team, you understand what good looks like, coaching your team to make everyone accountable, identifying talent, providing coaching and support to help others progress.
