About the role 1:1 Tutor (Full time and Part time, temporary opportunities available)Ellesmere Port£30 per hour (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)January 2026 start Vision for Education is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified 1:1 Tutor to support secondary students in the Ellesmere Port area who require additional help accessing education.This is a rewarding opportunity, ideal for experienced teachers or skilled tutors who excel at working independently with a flexible approach and can tailor Maths and English sessions to meet individual learning needs. The role focuses on helping students achieve their academic targets through personalised instruction.Requirements: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TEFL, TESOL, BA Ed etc.)Experience working with SEND pupilsStrong understanding of the secondary curriculumCommitment to regular, scheduled tutoring sessionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA proactive, flexible, and learner-centred teaching style What we offer:As a 1:1 Tutor, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
