Reserving Actuary – 28632

OverviewKey Duties (Including but not limited to):Reporting to their Senior Reserving Manager, you’ll provide actuarial advice to the relevant business units, developing relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring technical quality of work undertaken.You’ll deliver quarterly reserving advice, input into business planning, reserve variability and business partnering to undertake deep dives into relevant segments of the portfolio, supporting Actuarial Manager as required.Perform the forecasting of technical provisions, reserve margins and reserve uncertainties to support business analysis/MI for reports and accounts, business planning, profitability studies and commutationsSupport senior team members in working through complexity and explaining key assumptions to stakeholdersExperience required:You’ll have an experience of working within the actuarial function in a multinational financial services business, ideally within General Insurance (GI) ReservingExperience in discussions with wider business and stakeholder management skillsExperience in the use and interpretation of numerical dataExperience in Excel and other analytical tools. Ability to develop sophisticated models to address business needs
