Our secondary schools in Yate are looking for caring, adaptable, and down-to-earth Classroom Support Assistants who can make a real difference in the everyday life of a busy classroom.This is a brilliant role if you enjoy helping teenagers feel confident, understood, and ready to learn. You don’t need years of experience, just the right attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.What you’ll be doing Your days will be varied, but you’ll be at the heart of helping lessons run smoothly. You’ll: Support students in lessons across a range of subjects Work closely with class teachers to keep pupils engaged and on task Give 1:1 or small-group support to students who need a bit of extra encouragement Help manage behaviour calmly and confidently Bring positivity, patience, and consistency to the classroom What the schools are looking for You’ll shine in this role if you are: Calm, resilient, and great with young people Able to build quick rapport and positive relationships Confident stepping into different classrooms and routines Happy working with students with additional learning or behavioural needs Reliable, friendly, and ready to be part of the team Experience in a school is helpful, but absolutely not essential.
