Intermediate UX/UI Designer1 year contract% Remote● Lead end-to-end design across web and mobile experiences for members, providers, and administrators.● Partner with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to define user flows, interaction models, and design system patterns.● Translate research insights and behavioral data into clear, actionable design solutions.● Create and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that bring ideas to life.● Ensure consistency and quality through adherence to design systems, accessibility standards, and brand principles.● Facilitate design critiques, co-creation workshops, and collaborative reviews across teams.● Contribute to the evolution of our design system and advocate for best practices in usability and accessibility.● Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of craft excellence and continuous improvement.Must Haves:● 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, ideally within digital health, SaaS, or complex platform ecosystems.● A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design process, cross-platform design, and experience solving complex problems. We would like to see how you select design activities that are appropriate for the problems you're trying to solve.● Proficiency in Figma / FigJam● Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and usability principles.● Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.● Ability to think strategically about user experience and system-level design.● Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholders.● Passion for improving health outcomes and creating meaningful digital experiences that empower people.Nice to Have● Experience designing for healthcare, telehealth, or other regulated industries.● Familiarity with service design, journey mapping, and systems thinking.● Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/React knowledge is a plus). ● Experience planning and executing research activities such as concept testing and usability testing.● Exposure to data-driven design or behavior change frameworks.
