Retail BuyerDue to sustained year-on-year growth, my client is seeking to recruit a Retail Buyer. They are an established, award-winning end to end FMCG manufacturing business, who work with global suppliers and many high street retailers.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidates will be responsible for a range of activities, which may include:Work closely with the Head of Buying to streamline the buying operationLiaising and maintaining effective communication with suppliers based in the Far EastCritical path managementPrice negotiation with some suppliersOverseeing and coordinating stock movement across the supply chainLiaising with the Design teams to ensure products meet the spec and can be delivered on timeIdeally you will have previous retail buying experience as an Assistant Buyer looking for a step up or as a buyerDue to the pace of the industry, it's really key that you love what you do, and that buying creates a real passion in you Due to the location of the site, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.A comprehensive benefits package is included plus real career progression opportunities
