The Speech Therapy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 6/7 Paediatric Autism Speech and Language Therapist in Oxford. The successful Speech and Language Therapist will be working part-time hours. The caseload has approximately 60-70 students with Autism, but they are high functioning. Position: Paediatric Autism Speech and Language Therapist Banding:  6/7 Location: Oxford Start Date:  September 2024 Hours: Part Time Duration: Ongoing Contract Essential skills: The SLT would start from September 2024 (or before if available) for the academic year for 1-3 days per week. This is an independent school for students with a diagnosis of Autism aged 11 to 19 years. The therapist will primarily focus on writing and implementing programs – universal planning for students in the classroom. There may be a few one-to-one therapy sessions but not many students require this input. The therapists will provide training to staff in order that they can work with the SLT programmers provided.
