🚛 Class 2 Driver – South Gyle Industrial Estate, Edinburgh📍 Location: South Gyle Industrial Estate, Edinburgh💷 Pay: £14.00 – £17.59 per hour (depending on skills and experience)🗓 Hours: Monday to Friday + every second Saturday (8am-12pm)💼 Full-time, Permanent Opportunity We’re looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Class 2 Driver to join a busy timber and building materials supplier based in South Gyle. Whether you’re an experienced HGV driver or newly qualified and eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you 🌟 Why You’ll Love This Role:✔ Competitive pay – £14.00–£17.59 per hour (based on experience)✔ Monday to Friday schedule – only every second Saturday morning✔ Full training provided and support for newly qualified drivers✔ Steady, long-term work with a friendly, hands-on team✔ Learn and grow within the timber and builders’ merchant trade 🔧 Your Main Duties: Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, delivering timber and building materials to customers Assist with loading and unloading materials – heavy lifting is required Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations ✅ What You’ll Need:Essential: Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Desirable: HIAB licence or experience (preferred but not essential – training can be provided) Experience in the timber or building trade Previous commercial driving experience 💪 The Ideal Candidate:You’re dependable, hands-on, and take pride in your work.
