Imaging Assistant

We are seeking 3x experienced Imaging Assistant / Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to support our weekend ultrasound insourcing service for a major NHS client. This role is outside IR35 and ideal for HCAs with radiology or outpatient diagnostic experience. Imaging Assistant (HCA) - Weekend Ultrasound Insourcing Service £200 per day - Outside IR35 Location: Scotland (Outer Region) Start Date: January duration: 6 months + Shift: Weekends - 8am - 5.30pm Role Overview You will support Sonographers across multiple ultrasound rooms, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care. Responsibilities include: * Preparing and supporting patients during ultrasound examinations * Chaperoning (including gynae and transvaginal scans) * Assisting with infection control and room turnaround * Managing waiting areas and coordinating patient movement * Maintaining a safe, professional environment throughout the service Requirements * Previous HCA or Imaging Assistant experience within Radiology/Diagnostics * Confident supporting general, gynae, and MSK workflows * Excellent patient-care and communication skills * Ability to work efficiently across 2-3 busy rooms * PVG membership required (we can initiate this for you if needed) Key Details * £200 per day (Outside IR35) * Weekend shifts * Working alongside fully qualified Sonographers * Paid weekly * Induction and governance provided prior to first shift How to Apply If you're an experienced Imaging Assistant looking for well-paid weekend work outside IR35, please apply with your CV and we will be in touch to arrange onboarding.
