SEN Teaching Assistant Primary Mainstream School – Bristol ASAP Start – KS1 - Are you looking to support children with additional learning needs? Experience working with children required An excellent Primary school in Bristol is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs. A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and some previous experience working with SEN children is desirable. The position will be working 1:1 with a Year 1 pupil with significant SEN and challenging behaviour. The SEN teaching assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who have mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour or learning disabilities such as Autism. This Primary school are looking for a confident, dedicated Learning Support Assistant who is enthusiastic and passionate about their input into a child’s education. Ideally, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have excellent behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training e.g. Team Teach. * ASAP start * Teaching Assistant –1:1 SEN * Learning Support Assistant * Graduates welcomed * Great platform for aspiring teachers * Bristol * Primary School The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will be able to commit for the full academic year and the expected salary will be £83.33 to £96.15 per day.
