An opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Engineer; mechanical or electrical bias, to hit the ground running on a permanent basis. Electrical qualifications are preferred for this roleKey Responsibilities – Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Responsible for a combination of planned and reactive maintenance and technical challenges to ensure maximum line efficiencyPerform fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled equipmentAttend to breakdowns onsite ensuring a rapid response on plant equipment and machinery breakdownsCarry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of Automation machinery including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and robotsDeliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPI’s through planned, preventative and predictive maintenance.Ensure the efficient running of a continuous process, moving and packing high quality products, packaged and prepared for deliveryContinually improving performance of equipment and systems to support the development of the siteAgree preventative electrical maintenance plans Qualifications & Requirements – Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline in electrical mechanical in maintenance engineeringIdeally automated materials handling and or packaging machines Production line experience but qualified engineers will be offered training and developmentA proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal developmentComputer literate What we can offer – Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Packaging a competitive salary up to £52k plus package excellent pension and Bensa developing site and business with ongoing investmenttraining and developmentan excellent pension For more information on this role,
