Pulse have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Boston, England. About the role: The team is dedicated to the medical care of the elderly, addressing conditions such as frailty, dementia, acute diseases, and chronic ailments. You will receive support to cultivate your leadership and management abilities throughout your professional progression Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist: Support patients to achieve their individual goals enabling them to gain and/or maintain independence in their chosen occupational performance activities. Working as part of the Multidisciplinary Team to assist patients in preparing for their discharge from the hospital setting into their identified place of discharge (e.g. home or community based rehabilitation settings). Carry out the assessment process within the acute hospital and completing access and community visits to support discharge planning. responsible for the supervision and support of the other therapy staff within the team. What we are looking for in a Occupational Therapist: Be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC. Experience within an acute NHS or Community setting. Be a confident, engaging, and effective, model, guide, leader, and trainer. Be highly organized and ready to take the initiative.
