As the Substance Misuse Social Worker, you will: Work with adults whose primary social care needs are impacted by substance use Provide a duty/front door service offering advice, signposting, screening, and risk assessments Complete Care Act assessments and develop strength-based support plans Undertake initial care reviews and manage complex cases Fulfil statutory safeguarding duties, including Section 42 enquiries Collaborate with health professionals, housing services, voluntary sector, and other key partners Essential requirements of this Substance Misuse Social Worker role: Registration as a Social Worker with Social Work England Experience working with adults in a statutory setting A passion for supporting individuals with substance misuse issues Previous experience in substance misuse is desirable but not essential If this sounds like it could be the role for you then please contact Mozz Radwan on 02038573486 or We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation (WHO) Workforce Support and Safeguard List.
