Job description JOB TITLE Cover Supervisor ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is looking for a Cover Supervisor to work across a range of schools in Cardiff and the surrounding areas. The candidate will be covering a range of subjects but will prioritised in subjects the Candide is strongest in. Ideally the candidate will have been educated to a degree level and feel confident covering lessons to a high standard. Whist work will be provided from the school, it is expected that the staff have a high standard of behaviour management skills. The position is open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location CardiffPosition Cover Supervisor Type of work Covering classes in the absence of a Class Teacher Start date ASAP Duration / Likely Duration ongoing until further notice End date (if applicable) N/A Contract type Temporary & Permanent Full time/part time Part & Full time Minimum rate of pay Minimum rate GBP115 per day Hours 8:30 am 3:30 pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Recent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher Previous experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references covering the last 2 years
