About the Role:Connex Education are working and supporting an educational organisation in Middlesbrough who are seeking someone who is an ambitious PEP advisor to join their learning support team on a long-term basis. If you are looking for a full-time alternative to teaching post and are based in Middlesbrough or surrounding areas, then this might just be the perfect role for you About the School/Organisation: The educational organisation caters for pupils with a range of educational needs and who have learning difficulties who are functioning below age-related expectations, including SEMH, while offering a diverse curriculum to allow each child to reach their goals. As a SEND Teacher you will be supporting children in an engaging environment to focus on their academic studies, in addition to empowering them to become respectful and tolerant members of the community. They are looking for a SEND Teacher who is hardworking, resilient and who wants to make a difference in children’s lives. Assignment Details: Full time Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30m from November up to £.82 per day Up to 90 cases Speaking to social workers , tutors and any relevant bodies 2 days in office at a local hub and 3 days at home PEP meeting every term Monday-Friday role Monitor a caseload of children’s education, facilitate PEPs, and provide training and guidance to stakeholders like schools and carers. 8:30-4:30 Support young people as they transition to adulthood, up to age 18. Review and support a young person’s Pathway Plan, which covers future plans, housing, education, and health needs.
