Salary £24,796 - £25,185 per annum |26.25 hours per week | permanent, part time | Baines Endowed Primary | Thornton, LancashireUnit Catering Supervisor (Grade 3)Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.You will work as head of the team in Baines Endowed Primary Thornton providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.Key responsibilities:Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plansDirect and/or supervise other employees Order supplies and store deliveriesMaintain records and stock controlWhat we are looking for:Recognized catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate would be desirableExperience of catering for large numbers is also desirableWorking Hours/Days:Monday to FridayTerm time only26.25 hours per week = 5.25hrs hrs per day, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptakeThe post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
