Fabricator / Welder – Permanent Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join a well-established engineering company. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with excellent pay, regular day shifts, and long-term stability.Location: TamworthSalary: £16.00 per hour + benefitsContract: Permanent, full-timeHours:Monday to Thursday: 7.00 am – 3.30 pmFriday: 7.00 am – 2.00 pmThe RoleAs a Fabricator / Welder, you’ll be responsible for:Fabricating and welding steel, aluminium, and stainless componentsTIG welding (stainless pipework essential; aluminium an advantage)Preparing and finishing materials before welding (cutting, marking, cleaning, deburring)Reading engineering drawings to create accurate cutting and bolt listsCarrying out quality checks and signing off completed workOperating CNC machinery, press brake, and guillotineLoading/unloading deliveries and maintaining a clean, safe workshopSupporting continuous improvement by suggesting process/machine efficiency'sAbout YouMinimum 3 years’ TIG welding experienceCNC experience plus sheet metal and machine maintenance backgroundHigh attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracyForklift licence would be a bonus, but not essentialWhat’s on Offer£16 per hourPermanent, full-time role with job securityDay shifts only – no nights or weekendsSupportive team environment with opportunities for development
