Job DescriptionTemporary Refuse OperativeWise Employment are looking for a Refuse Operative to join a brilliant Organisation in East Devon on a temporary basis with the possibility of going permanent. (Opportunities based in either Seaton/Axminster, Sidmouth and Exmouth Locations.This Opportunity would be suitable for anyone who is looking for work over the next 6-8 weeks.This fantastic opportunity offers £13.72 per hour and will be working a 41.5 a week, Monday – Thursday 7:30pm – 4:30pm and a 4pm Friday Finish.Due to the nature of the Refuse Operative position, candidates will need to be willing to work outside and in all weather (Full PPE will be provided) As an Outdoor Cleansing Operative your role will involve:Emptying litter bins along public streets and footpathsLitter picking in public spaces, beaches, and recreational areasCleaning and restocking public toilets and facilitiesSweeping paths, channels, and high-traffic areasSupporting event clean-up and waste managementOperating cleansing equipment and council vehiclesTo be successful in this role you will need:To work well independently and as part of a teamThorough, reliable, and takes pride in creating a clean environmentCan deal with members of the public in a calm and respectful wayHas a Full Clean Driving LicenceIs willing to work across the week including some weekends and early morningsPlease note that any candidate that is being put forward for the role will be required to undertake a DVLA Driving Licence Check.
