In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes, supporting learners from their first steps into FE through to advanced study. You will contribute to curriculum development, act as a tutor to student groups and play a key role in ensuring each learner is prepared for progression and employment. A teaching qualification is not essential-what matters is your Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and industry experience. The college will support you through a funded teaching qualification and provide ongoing CPD opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Electrical Installation expertise who wants to move into a lecturing role where you can genuinely make a difference, help students maximise their potential and develop your own career in education.The Role:Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in Electrical Installation across multiple levels.Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment materials.Support learners by setting personalised targets and providing ongoing feedback.Act as a Tutor, offering academic and pastoral guidance to individuals and groups.Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.Maintain accurate student records and participate in recruitment and engagement events.Full-time, site-based role across Slough & Langley College campuses.The Person:Qualified to a minimum Level 3 in Electrical Installation.Holds (or willing to work towards) a Level 5 teaching qualification.Level 2 English and Level 2 Maths.Experience working in the electrical/vocational industry.Ability to motivate learners and deliver engaging sessions.Strong IT and administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines.Committed to safeguarding, inclusion and delivering an outstanding student experience.Flexible, organised and confident working with a range of stakeholders.
