Your newpany Hays are working in partnership with a well-respected civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Lisburn. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative and practical design solutions across residential,mercial, and industrial sectors, the firm is expanding its technical team to support a growing portfolio of projects across Northern Ireland and beyond.Your new role As a Structural Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and BIM models to support the design and delivery of building structures. Working closely with experienced engineers, you’ll contribute to projects from concept through to construction, ensuring accuracy andpliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities include:Preparing detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD and RevitCollaborating with engineers and external stakeholders to develop design solutionsSupporting project delivery across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structuresMaintaining drawing standards and ensuringpliance with relevant codesWhat you'll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you’ll need:Experience working as a Structural Technician within a consultancy environmentStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (essential)Good understanding of UK and NI building regulations and detailing practicesExcellentmunication and organisational skillsHNC/HND or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred)What you'll get in return You’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team with amitment to professional development.
