Job Description Job Title: Senior Project PlannerLocation: Barrow-in-FurnessPAYE: £40 per hourContract: 6 months – Hybrid working Join BAE Systems and play a key role within the Stage 2/3 Engineering Planning Team supporting the world-class Dreadnought submarine programme. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to one of the UK’s most complex and critical engineering projects while developing your skills in a high-performance environment. What You’ll Be DoingManaging and maintaining Engineering delivery plans across Stage 2/3 Engineering. Analysing key engineering data, highlighting issues, variances, and dependencies to stakeholders. Using multiple toolsets to manipulate engineering datasets and support delivery. Ensuring Engineering Delivery aligns with the wider build programme and proposing mitigation actions when misalignment occurs. Leading and maintaining Project Management & Controls processes across your work scope. Skills & Experience Essential:Strong understanding of organisational structure, processes and culture within engineering or similar environments. Previous Project Controls or Project Management experience. Ability to gather data, support solution development and assist with implementation. Experience integrating cross-functional teams across multiple projects. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Desirable:Experience using Primavera P6 (including admin-level knowledge). Understanding of Stage 2/3 Engineering deliverables (First Issue Outputs & Change). Why Join BAE Systems?
