Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arise for a Senior Chartered Structural Engineer to join an established team where they will not only have the opportunity to develop themselves but the team and in time the business. You will be responsible for leading a number of structural projects, progressing with the design and managing the technical output. You will lead proposals, meeting Clients and the design team, planning, project management and progressing design and detailing through all stages of the project. Person Specification: To apply for the position of Chartered Structural Engineer you must hold an accredited degree in structural engineering and should be a Chartered Engineer ideally with the IStructE. However, if you are nearing Chartership and possess the necessary experience 10 years + within a similar role you will also be considered. You should be commercially aware, ambitious and ideally should have some experience of team management. Also contacts in the local marketplace would be an advantage. Good people management and clear communication are essential for working within a multi-disciplinary environment and meeting their Clients. There will also be opportunities for further progression within a developing and expanding company.
