The firm boast a strong Scottish presence with several offices across the central belt of Scotland, offering an interesting and varied client base ranging from local independent businesses to large international organisations. The firm are keen to recruit an experienced audit manager to oversee the management of a diverse portfolio of clients based predominantly across the SME market based towards their Edinburgh office.Your new roleIn your new role as an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the firm's audit function. The key duties of the role include:Deliver revenue and profitability targetsFoster enduring client relationshipsDevelop and inspire our smarter people planManage a portfolio of audit clients alongside the preparation of accounts and corporation taxputations/returns for limitedpaniesEnsurepliance with GAAP and practical guidance is provided on regulatory matters such as tax and VAT regulations, requirements of UK law and the principles of goodernanceOversee and coach more junior members of staffOther ad hoc duties when requiredWhat you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm. The ideal candidate will befortable overseeing audits from planning topletion alongside managing and mentoring more junior staff members.
