Driver Hire are looking for HGV Drivers/HGV Class 2 Drivers/LGV Drivers/LGV Class 2 Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working at our client’s Crawley depot.12 months of palletised driving experience preferred. Our network’s portfolio of clients has grown substantially in recent years, with a variety of customers requiring more focused support across the Crawley area. As a result, we’re now looking for an additional Cat C Driver to join the Driver Hire Gatwick team to support. The company is known for providing competitive and dependable logistics solutions across the UK. They are seeking an experienced or aspiring Class 2 driver to support their friendly team. Start Times: From 6am Location: Crawley (Within 20 miles) Pay rates: £17.00-£19.00 per hour Key Responsibilities: Deliver palletised freight across the South of England. General haulage Ensure vehicle checks comply with Health and Safety criteria Adhere to driving hours and safety regulations Ensure safe loading/unloading of goods About You You should hold a HGV 2 Licence for a minimum of 12 months with a minimum of 6 months UK HGV Class 2 driving experience. • No more than 6 points no DD/DR/TT/IN Code convictions • Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards • Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly • Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements • Be flexible with working hours
