Warehouse Operative NIGHTS

Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Poynton Remuneration: £11.84ph - £13.53ph, this also increases after 6 months and again after 12 months Hours: This role is nights Sunday to Thursday 22:00 - 06:00 Your training will be on a rotating shift basis doing 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (once you are trained up you will go onto the night shift) Responsibilities: Work as part of a dynamic team to execute warehouse operations efficiently and effectively. Safely operate 5-tonne overhead gantry cranes, utilising radio remote and pendant control. Always consider your hand and body positioning, applying a task-based personal risk assessment. Accurately cut lengths of steel to precise measurements using fully or semi-automated Band Saws/Cold saws. Adhere to necessary Fire, Health & Safety Regulations and complete all required training. Follow instructions from the Foreman to ensure work schedules are met and maintain production output. Store processed material in designated Warehouse Bay(s) while ensuring safety and accessibility in line with company practises. Conduct stock checks as required. Wear Personal Protective Equipment as instructed for your assigned role (e.g., sawyer role - hard hat, safety glasses/visor, ear defenders, hi viz, overalls, and safety boots). Promptly report any plant defects to the Supervisor/Senior Supervisor/Works Manager. Working Pattern: Night Shift Are you ready to join a vibrant and energetic team of warehouse operatives?
