Benefits - Exciting opportunity to join a well-established independent small animal 1st opinion practice and exotics referral centre based near the Norfolk coast. - Access to state-of-the-art equipment: endoscopy, x-ray, laser therapy, and a brand new CT scanner. - Work with a friendly and experienced 4-vet team with interests in surgery, dentistry, and exotics. - Clinical freedom and a varied caseload. - Fantastic work-life balance: 1 week on, 3 weeks off with accommodation supplied. - Competitive salary up to £60,000. - Private healthcare after 6 months. Role Overview A rare opportunity to join one of the best family-run independent practices in Norfolk has arisen. They are searching for a confident veterinary surgeon to join their small and exotic animal, first opinion practice situated just north of Norwich. The practice offers an exotics referral service so an interest in exotics work would be beneficial but not essential. Ideal Candidate The ideal person for this role will be comfortable with routine surgical procedures and enjoy working as part of a team, building strong relationships with clients. You will benefit from clinical freedom, a diverse caseload, and a supportive environment to develop your career. Rota - Mon morning to Sun evening, then enjoy 3 weeks off. - Take handover at and leave by - Twilight consultations: with 15-minute slots. Package and Benefits - Up to £60,000 salary. - RCVS and VDS fees paid. - CPD and certificate study supported and encouraged. - Excellent opportunity for career development. Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements - 2 years + experience with an interest in Exotics preferred. - Must have the right to work in the UK. - RCVS registration required. - Minimum 12 months UK experience. - Comfortable working sole charge. - Must enjoy teamwork and building good relationships with clients.
