As a purposeful, values-driven brand, we are committed to being a force for good in the world as well, creating the next generation of sustainable luxury for customers, driving industry change and championing our communities.JOB PURPOSEThe Product Development Assistant will support the Product Development team in delivering the end to end product development process in their respective category.RESPONSIBILITIESInput and maintain accurate data in PLM throughout the collection lifecycle.Collaborate closely with Product Developers to foster strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipments.Manage collection overview documentation and maintain organized records.Track and report budgets for product development, prototypes, and sample.sOrganize, file, and archive samples and swatches systematically.Provide support to the Product Development and Design teams with product information, including spec sheets, color cards, and sample archives.Update boards and collection books to reflect current product status.Assist the PD Admin team with administrative tasks as required.PERSONAL PROFILEPrevious experience in Product Development preferred.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Proven ability to manage high volumes of data entry with precision, even under tight deadlines.Strong commercial awareness, including understanding of product costs and budget tracking.Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely across teams.Genuine passion for fashion and deep knowledge of the relevant product category, including trends, market insights, luxury consumer behavior, and competitor awareness.Ability to work at pace with flexibility, initiative, and a solution-oriented mindset.Highly organized with strong time-management skills.Proficient in key tools and systems: PLM, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe InDesign.FOOTERBurberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.Posting Notes: United Kingdom || Not Applicable || London || PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT || SOFTS || n/a ||
