Qualified Social Worker, Adult Community Team Pay rate £30 per hour Contract roleWe are recruiting for experienced Social Worker to work in an Adult Community Team in Blackpool. We require experienced qualified social workers on our adult community team working with people who are over the age of 18years of age, which is focused around people with disabilities associated with illness or age/frailty and also more complex issues recording substance misuse, and domestic abuse, who do not meet criteria for specialist learning disability, autism or mental health services. Blackpool is one of the most deprived towns in England and the needs of our population are reflective of this.  We need experienced staff working together from our office, dealing with new incoming referrals, undertaking Care Act assessments and reviews and also some safeguarding work as we do not have a separate safeguarding team- All support/induction to do this work will be provided.Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of the Children’s First Partnership Hub (CFPH), including Early Help and MASH functions.Manage triage and screening of referrals, ensuring timely and evidence-based decision-making.Ensure statutory safeguarding duties are met in line with the Safeguarding Children’s Partnership threshold document.Lead multi-agency decision-making processes and ensure correct thresholds are applied.Supervise and support staff including Social Workers, CAROs, and Business Support Officers.Maintain high standards of information sharing and collaborative working with partner agencies.Champion strength-based and relationship-focused practice across the team.Provide management oversight of contact records and referrals, ensuring child-focused and safe decisions.Support quality assurance through audits and learning reviews. Whether you’re a qualified social worker, or have an interest in housing or SEND roles, we have the opportunities you’ll want to hear about. Don’t forget, if this role isn’t the perfect fit, we’re confident we can find one that is.
