HGV Class 1 Driver Posted on November 10th, 2025 Rotherham £ - £ per hour Type of Job: Temporary Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers. NEWLY PASSED DRIVERS ARE WELCOME TO APPLY WITH UPSKILLING AVAILABLE Start times between 14:00 - 21:59 for immediate starts in Barnsley. PAYE rates are as below: PM Rates: £ - £ PEAK Rates below between 23rd Nov - 20th Dec PM £ - £ Per Hour Your Time at Work As an HGV 1 driver, the work will involve Depot Delivery and collection work, trunking trailers between local and national RDC's. Drivers required on all 7 days Monday - Sunday. Must be flexible. On occasion, you may be requested to: - Drive a Class 2 (rigid) vehicle - Double Mann runs (optional) - Nights Out (optional) Our Perfect Worker Will be flexible to work 2 hours either side of the preferred start time window and be able to commit to a rota in advance. As an HGV 1 driver, you will ideally have: - Newly passed drivers are encouraged to apply with upskilling available - No more than 6 points - Digi and DQC cards - Class 1 and 2 qualified - Experience using a Digi card and be able to record manual entries Key Information and Benefits - Typical shift length 12 hours - New vehicles - Regular weekend work available - Fixed Rota's available - On-Site support from Staffline - Weekly pay - Free on-site Parking - 28 Days Holiday Accrual JOB REF - D1EBH About Staffline Staffline is the biggest recruiter in the UK and Ireland, and we believe in putting people first.
