SEMH Support – KS3 SEMH Support – KS3 We are seeking a resilient and proactive SEMH Support Assistant to work with KS3 students in a Pupil Referral Unit. This role requires strong behaviour management and intervention experience, supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs to re-engage with learning. Key Responsibilities Provide consistent support to KS3 pupils with SEMH needs, both 1:1 and in small groups. Implement behaviour strategies and targeted interventions to promote positive outcomes. Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to adapt approaches for individual needs. Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage resilience, confidence, and progress. Essential Skills & Experience Behaviour management experience in PRU, SEMH, or specialist settings. Intervention experience supporting students with SEMH needs. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families. Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
