Location: Snetterton Shifts: Varies - based on your preference Pay: £14.00 - £21.00 per hour (depending on hours / days worked) Length of assignment: Ad hoc / Ongoing (potential temp to perm for those that are looking for something more permanent)Manpower is currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers to work on behalf of one of our national food and drinks logistics distribution clients. This work is purely ad hoc to cover holidays and sickness however if you preferred something more full time then we can offer this tooWhat you'll do on a typical day:Carry out a maximum of two deliveries per day to the customer delivery points, following all relevant store and non-store delivery procedures as per company and customer policiesPotentially have the need to drop and swap trailersMaintain the highest levels of hygiene and housekeeping standards within the depot, vehicle, and trailer assigned for daily dutiesRegularly inspect the vehicle for defects and wear and tear, and report any issues promptly to ensure timely and effective maintenanceAccurately complete all necessary paperwork within the given time frame, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirementsWhat you need to succeed with our client:A full UK driving licence with C+E category - must have 2 year's experienceLess than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)An up-to-date CPC and Digital TachographExcellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiativeMust be able to pass an onsite assessment prior to assignment commencementPay, benefits and more:Flexible approach to workingWeekly pay whilst with us.Full 28 days holiday and holiday pay accrued over the yearWorkplace pensionA 24/7 online GP service, life assurance and a fully comprehensive employee assistance programmeAccess to our My Benefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, cash back cards, a saving scheme and much moreAccess to client University - home to a wealth of online training courses, meaning your development never endsIf this role is something you would be interested in, apply now and a member of team will be in touchnull
