JOB DESCRIPTION Compensation: $17 - $21 per hour A closed door long term care pharmacy in the Marlborough, MA area is currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians. Whether you are new to the field of pharmacy or just looking for a change, this position is for you  As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing outstanding pharmacy service to patients and partner organizations. Working with the pharmacy team, you will help maintain and drive an amazing, modern, and innovative pharmacy service.  Job Summary: As a Pharmacy Technician 1, you will assist the on-site pharmacist in preparing prescription orders for healthcare facilities. Youll ensure pharmacy standards are upheld, follow company policies, and help meet operational goals. The ideal candidate is personable, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to helping customers. No task will feel too small, and you're ready to take on any challenge. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Key Responsibilities: Assist the pharmacist with labeling and accurately preparing prescriptions. Package and label medications for delivery, using the Framework system. Organize and restock pharmacy shelves, removing expired items. Operate pharmacy automation systems (e.g., Accuflex, Dosis). Refill emergency medication boxes and maintain pharmacy equipment. Experience Needed:  At least 1 yr of experience in a LTC Pharmacy Duration of assignment:  6-8 weeks, possibility of being brought on permanently  Pay: $17-$21/hr Licensing:  MA State Registered required, Nationally or PTCB Certified preferred Schedule : PM shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, every other weekend. AM shift : Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, every other weekend Benefits : Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, (k).
