The team is recognised as a centre of excellence across our Global Data Science community - providing new data-driven insights that improve decision making across the Aviva Group.A bit about the job:You'll be working closely with Pricing and Trading teams to understand business problems and then define, scope, and deliver solutions utilising the latest data science techniques in conjunction with the wealth of our data assets. You will have license to be creative in researching and designing solutions, leading your team to explore new and innovative ways of generating value from data and presenting findings back to your stakeholders to be actioned.Skills and experience we're looking for: Creative thinker/problem solver with strong analytical and numerical ability. Relevant experience of solving complex problems using data science, including either statistical modelling or using a programming language such as Python, SQL, R or similar. Experience in leading and working with others to solve complex business problems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to non-technical audiences.
