Position Details: Role: Band 6/7 Neuro Occupational Therapist Location: Wallington, Surrey Contract Type: Full-time, starting ASAP for an ongoing period of 3 months. Pay: Competitive, to be discussed upon application. Responsibilities: As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, head injuries, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. You will develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure comprehensive care. Your role will also involve conducting community visits across the borough of Sutton, providing interventions in patients’ homes, care homes, and community settings. Requirements: Significant experience working with patients with neurological conditions. Experience in rehabilitation and management of long-term conditions. Community experience with adults and older adults. Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Capability to complete community visits around Sutton, South West London. Desirable: EMIS trained and possess an NHS SMART card. Car driver with access to a vehicle for this role. Experience seeing patients with a Sutton GP. Mileage can be claimed; however, please note that parking permits are not available for bank or agency staff.
