You will be responsible for supporting the setup and execution of a large-scale device refresh and migration project.Tell Me More, Tell Me More…Our client is currently looking to expand their team with a hands-on engineer to support a fast-paced migration effort. Below are the job details for your reference. You can also reach out to our friendly recruitment team with any questions between 09:00am and 17:00pm, Monday to Friday.Shifts:Monday to Friday ( hours per week)Roles and Responsibilities:• Set up the Refresh Clinic at the designated site • Move devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic as instructed • Log in to systems using provided devices under supervision • Refresh laptops and prepare them for deployment • Collect existing devices from users and hand over new ones according to the migration schedule • Ensure accurate handover and collection of devices per project processes • Update the workflow management system at all relevant steps • Report any issues promptly to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager • Escalate unresolved issues to the onsite Post Migration Support Engineer • Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings • Package and label collected devices for disposal or refurbishment • Secure all devices and equipment in onsite storage at the end of each day.Other Stuff We’re Potentially Looking For:• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting • Experience in IT hardware handling and basic troubleshooting • Goodmunication and organisational skillsWhat’s in it for You?Our client loves to reward their people for doing a great job. • This is a 5-week contract • An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £ (PAYE) OR £ (via a Hays Approved Umbrellapany) • This role is fully on-site at Haig Road, SurreyNext StepsOnce you’ve applied, one of our friendly recruitment consultants will give you a call and talk you through the screening process.
