Locum Consultant Urologist – Raigmore Hospital, Inverness Location: Raigmore Hospital, NHS HighlandRole: Locum Consultant in UrologyStart Date: ASAP (flexible)Contract Length: 3 months – could extend beyhound Hours: Full-timeOn-Call: YES About the Role Raigmore Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Consultant Urologist to join its dynamic Urology Department. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, well-supported team providing high-quality elective and emergency urological care to the Highland region. You will be involved in outpatient clinics, theatre sessions, flexible cystoscopy, multidisciplinary meetings, and inpatient care. The department values collaborative working, service development, and maintaining excellent standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities Deliver consultant-level urology services, including diagnostics and operative work Provide specialist advice and support to medical and nursing teams Participate in elective and emergency pathways Attend MDT meetings and contribute to ongoing service improvement Optional participation in the on-call rota Essential Requirements Full GMC registration with a licence to practise Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register (or within 6 months of CCT) Proven experience working at Consultant level in Urology Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Raigmore Hospital?
