Sales Ledger Assistant - £28,000 per annum📍 Based just outside Abergavenny (between Abergavenny and Pontypool) | Full-time, PermanentAre you an organised and detail-focused individual with a passion for numbers? We're looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join our friendly finance team at our offices just outside of Abergavenny.About the RoleAs a Sales Ledger Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance function. You'll take ownership of the sales ledger while also assisting with credit control and purchase ledger duties.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recordedProcess customer invoices, credit notes, and paymentsReconcile customer accounts and assist with month-end reportingSupport credit control by monitoring outstanding payments and following up with customers when necessaryAssist with purchase ledger tasks, including processing supplier invoices and reconciling statementsProvide general administrative and financial support to the finance teamAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is:Confident working with numbers and has excellent attention to detailOrganised, methodical, and able to prioritise tasks effectivelyA good communicator with a positive, proactive approachDesirable SkillsExperience with any of the following would be beneficial (but not essential, as full training will be provided):Microsoft ExcelSageXeroWhat We OfferCompetitive salary of £28,000 per annumSupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for development and trainingFree on-site parking and a pleasant rural office location💼 Interested?
