Immediate start available.Great opportunity in Scunthorpe.About Our ClientA growing manufacturing and distribution business in Scunthorpe is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller. This is an on-site role due to confidentiality requirements and would suit someone available at short notice. Temp-to-perm will be considered.Job DescriptionKey responsibilities include:Preparing monthly management accounts and management information packsSupporting month-end processes and general ledger workRaising and processing payments and ensuring accurate financial dataManaging debtor collections and supporting creditor managementMonitoring and improving cashflow; understanding cash cycles and cashflow statementsProviding financial support to the FC and FD as requiredAssisting in the implementation of a new Oracle ERP system (go-live in ~6 months)Contributing to a PE-influenced, leveraged environment following a recent LBOThe Successful ApplicantWhat We're Looking ForStrong management accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing, distribution, or similar product-based environmentsExcellent understanding of cashflow, cash cycles, and working capital managementDigitally savvy with the ability to support systems change (ERP experience a bonus)Comfortable working in a small, hands-on finance teamExposure to PE-backed or leveraged environments is desirableAble to start quickly, with interviews arranged swiftly (initial virtual, follow-up on-site)What's on OfferWhy Apply?Chance to join a business on an exciting journey of systems and operational changeDirect exposure to the FCFlexible working hours and supportive leadershipOpportunity for the role to convert to permanent
