The Role You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities for Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate). Teaching: Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cater to mixed-ability classes as well as top sets. Assessment: Marking and monitoring student progress in line with the school’s assessment policy. Curriculum: Contributing to the development of resources and schemes of work. Pastoral: Acting as a form tutor and contributing to the wider school community. What We Are Looking For We are looking for a specialist who is passionate about Mathematics and holds high expectations for all students. Qualifications: Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a relevant PGCE. Education: A degree in Mathematics or a strongly related subject. Experience: Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum (ECTs/NQTs are very welcome to apply and will be fully supported). Attributes: Strong classroom management, deep subject knowledge, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Requirements: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
