Job description Aspire People are currently seeking a Qualified Maths Teacher who is confident to teach DNR to KS3-KS4 students in one of secondary schools in Derby. You will be responsible for delivering and planning lessons to GCSE standard. You will need to hold QTS and have experience teaching Maths to GCSE level and be confident to teach DNR. The school is looking for a confident teacher with good communication and behaviour management. Location - DE6 * Position - QTS MATHS (DNR) * Type of work - KS3-KS4 * Start date - ASAP till Christmas break * Likely Duration - short-term with possibility for extension * Contract type - Temporary * 5 days a week * Rate of pay - £180 - £200 - Per Day * Hours - 8:20am-4pm (term time only)Experience, Training and Qualifications It is essential that you have QTS and experience teaching Maths in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role. * Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Aspire People if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months. To be eligible for any teaching job with Aspire People, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. * Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. * Provide two professional child related references.
