The School/role:We are looking for a full time TA to start working at a fantastic special needs school in Solihull long-term supply basis. This role requires at least two years experience working with a range of special needs such as ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD in a school or healthcare environment. You will be working quite closely with SLD so strong knowledge is required. Key Duties: Constant Supervision: Provide vigilant supervision to ensure the safety of the child and others, particularly in managing disruptive behaviour. Building Trusting Relationships: Foster a trusting relationship with the student to create a supportive learning environment. Sensory Room Assistance: Facilitate the student’s engagement in the sensory room to enhance their learning experience. Outdoor Activities: Organise and facilitate opportunities for the student to run around outside each day, promoting physical activity and well-being.
