About the Role…
Our Benelux finance team are excited to present a new opportunity in EG Group for a Financial Controller to join our Head Office. The successful candidate will play a key part in the business, ensuring that they act as a Finance point for Senior Management Teams and the Board.
Reporting to the Benelux Finance Director, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the key financial and accounting functions. The successful candidate will be expected to lead all aspects of the Management accounts and financial reporting process and maintain strong oversight of the transactional accounting process.
Duties & Responsibilities
Accountable for monthly accounts from trial balance to financial statements for a group of entities Management and development of a team of qualified accountants Coordinate and review month/quarter/year end tasks Lead the balance sheet reconciliation process for a group of entities Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting Plan the audit process and ensure timely completion Submit year-end statutory accounts (IFRS & local GAAP) Develop and maintain robust processes and controls in line with Group requirements Oversee of all tasks and activities according to internal policies Continuously review and improve finance systems, processes and controls Other Ad-hoc projects Be a key business partnerThis list is not exhaustive and may be added to or amended from time to time.
Candidate Requirements
