This role will mainly be a remote role with occasional travel to clients in Derby/West Midlands and the London Regions. This role is an outside IR35 roleJob DescriptionAs Interim Procurement Consultant, duties will include, however, not be limited to:Delivering end to end (through open and negotiated public contract regulations led) procurement's with a particular focus on Rail & Fleet.Analyse market trends and negotiate contracts with suppliers.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements.Monitor and report on fleet procurement performance metrics.Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.The Successful ApplicantA successful Interim Procurement Consultant should haveMust have completed the Government Commercial College TPP module and be a PA23 Certified Practitioner.Proven expertise in end to end procurement particularly in Rail, Fleet, Water or Utilities operations.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.Ability to analyse market data and identify cost-saving opportunities.Experience in managing supplier relationships effectively.What's on OfferCompetitive daily rate of £500 to £600 outside IR35, depending on relevant experience.Opportunity to work on a mainly remote basis with occasional travel to Derby/ Midlands/ London Offices.Temporary position with a focus on fleet procurement management.Immediate Start on OfferAs mentioned this role requires you to have completed the Government Commercial College TPP module and be a PA23 Certified Practitioner and so only candidates with this certificate will be considered.
