This is a wonderful chance to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable individuals within the community who require much needed care and support. We seek to promote independence and well-being at every opportunity, giving our service users the strength and courage to lead normal and healthy lives once again. As a Social Worker experienced in working in Intermediate Care settings and hospitals, you will be reaching out to those in crisis or who are acutely unwell within the community and the hospital itself. There is an expectation for you to travel to different locations to provide assessments therefore a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. As this is a 7-day service (including bank holidays) there will be a requirement for you to work up to one in four weekends, we offer pay enhancements for weekend working.
