Are you an empathetic Occupational Therapist with a keen interest in acute care? An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist to work on our fantastic NHS client’s acute in-patient wards based in Kewstoke, Somerset. The role is available for the successful physiotherapist to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week for an initial period of 3 months. The appointed Occupational Therapist will be responsible for carrying a clinical caseload and will need to be an excellent communicator in order to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. The postholder will also carry out individual and group interventions on the adult acute in-patient wards. Skills and experience needed: Previous experience within acute settings Previous discharge planning and Oncology experience Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy HCPC registration Duties will include:  Care-coordinating Attending MDT meetings Contribute to the holistic assessment of physical and mental wellbeing needs. Assessment and intervention of individual patients needs and progress. Treating patients for a range of moderate to complex mental health conditions Working with other healthcare professionals What next?
