Middle School Teacher Milk Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School English Teacher to support a range of welcoming Middle Schools across the West Northumberland area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys teaching pupils at that pivotal stage between primary and secondary learning. If you are committed to helping pupils develop strong literacy foundations, confidence, and a genuine love for English, this role is perfect for you Key Responsibilities: Plan and teach engaging English lessons across KS2 and KS3, supporting smooth academic transition. Deliver high-quality reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension lessons. Adapt resources to meet a wide range of learner needs and abilities. Create a supportive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Motivate pupils to develop confidence, strong literacy skills, and positive learning habits. Collaborate with school staff and Milk Education to deliver a well-sequenced curriculum. Requirements: MUST have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this role. Experience teaching English within KS2, KS3, or in a Middle School setting. Strong subject knowledge and passion for developing young readers and writers. Effective behaviour management and strong communication skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods for a variety of ages and abilities. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
