About the role Classroom Support Assistant Doncaster£444.60 - £524.90 Per WeekSalary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.Monday – Friday (Full time, Temporary to Permanent)Start Date: Monday 5th January 2026 – Flexible starts date availableThe RoleAs a Classroom Support Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with Learning Disabilities and Challenging behaviours to work to the best of their ability to make the most of their education and learning. You will assist and encourage the young adults to take part in all activities and tasks carried out by the school including physical activity, lessons and crafts. The young people will have needs such as autism, developmental language disorder, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, EBD, ADHD, PMLD, SLD and moderate learning difficulties. This role can be very rewarding for somebody who is wanting to make a positive impact on a young person’s life.The schoolAll the schools that vision for education work with are dedicated to offering the best possible learning experience tailored to each students’ individual needs. The school caters for young children between the ages of 3 – 19 years old.RequirementsTo be considered for the Classroom Support Assistant position, you will have:• Previous experience of working with behaviours that challenge is highly desirable• An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or the willingness to apply for one• The ability to work on initiative and proactively• The desire to work with young people with special educational needs• A driving licence and car or accessible public transport links.• Available Monday to FridayAbout Vision for Education Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children and young people.
