Level 3 Teaching Assistant – SEND SupportLocation: Rochdale, Greater ManchesterDay Rate:petitive, based on experienceContract Type: Temporary (potential for permanent placement)Start Date: ASAP or after October half-termYour New JobAre you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Hays Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary special school in Rochdale, Greater Manchester to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role is available for an immediate start or post-half term and offers the potential for a permanent placement. You will be supporting students aged 11–16 with a range ofplex needs including autism spectrum condition (ASC), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, and moderate learning difficulties (MLD). Your role will involve:Providing tailored support to students on a 1:1 and small group basisAssisting teachers in delivering differentiated and accessible lessonsPromoting independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeingSupporting behaviour management strategies and safeguarding protocolsCollaborating with the wider SEND and pastoral teams to ensure holistic supportYour NewpanyThis secondary special school is a nurturing and inclusive environment that caters to pupils with a wide range of SEND.
