Management Accountant position within a large and forward thinking Construction firm who based in Bedford. This is a large and well reputable firm with 8 different offices, and are looking to add an accountant to their ever growing team,

They are looking for a fairly experienced candidate with construction or similar industry experience, and knowledge to work within their small finance team of 4, reporting to the financial controller

Management Accountant Position Overview

Working closely with Financial Controller to produce monthly Management accounts within 15 working days of the month end including variance analysis with commentary. Preparation of journals, accruals and prepayments and overseeing all P&L accounts Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis Involvement in the preparation of quarterly VAT return Maintenance of the cashflow forecast on a daily basis. Coordinate and maintain Inter-company recharges and transactions. Assisting with year end and statutory accounts Support other members of the team when required. Duties, responsibilities may be adjusted or added as needed to meet the needs of the organization. Management Accountant Position Requirements

Part CIMA/ACCA and/or full AAT qualification or relevant experience. Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Organised, analytical and have good attention to detail. The ideal candidate must have a can-do attitude, be able to adapt and have a positive mindset to change.
