Adecco have teamed up with a forward thinking and dynamic client who are in the manufacturing industry, they are looked to add to their already successful warehouse and logistic department. As a Warehouse Operative you will play an integral part in the logistical operation covering the UK. Salary: £25, - £27, DOE Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm (one evening shift 12.00pm to 8.00pm per week) PLUS one Sunday in 3 however you will get the Friday off that week. Benefits: Attractive holiday allowance, Company pension after 3 months, Private medical insurance and a lot more. The main day to day responsibilities in the warehouse: Receive, inspect and record incoming deliveries. Carry out warehouse operations in an efficient and timely manner, limiting waste whenever possible. Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment. Store products in designated areas, ensuring proper organisation and labelling. Prepare and complete orders in time for courier collection. Operate warehouse equipment such wrapping machinery, forklifts, pallet stacker and pallet trolleys. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the Operations Manager. Undertake weekly stock takes.
